BEAUTY CABINET: CLEANSERS

 My Favorite Facial Cleansers

I have been wanting to talk about beauty products for a while.  There are millions of people talking about their favorite beauty products on the internet. Obviously, I'm not a beauty blogger, but a purveyor of fine lingerie.  I like wearing makeup and caring for my skin is a priority.  However, I like to keep my cleansing and makeup routines simple.

First up…Cleanser

My primary or daily cleanser is Micellar Water. I read about micellar water on a blog.  The first time I tried micellar water, I was surprised and became an instant fan.  I’ve experimented with a few brands, but my favorite is one I get in Paris.  Bioderma Crealine H20.

I rarely use tap water on my face, instead opting for this miracle cleanser. [Read more about it here: bioderma.fr or  bioderma.us]. It’s gentle enough for me to use morning and night.  This one step cleanser meets my requirement for simplicity.

I have sensitive/normal skin and don’t use soap on my face. Another reason why I keep my routine simple.

The other thing I use is the Eve Lom cleanser creme [read about evelom.com]. I had heard a lot about this creme, and got a sample.  I used it and was shocked at how well it removed all of my makeup.  It smells incredible and the massage they recommend is just icing on the cake.  I use this once a week like a mini facial.

So here’s my cleansing routine:

Bioderma Crealine H20 - Daily morning and night

[The US version Bioderma Sensibio can be purchased at Bioderma.us ]

Eve Lom Cleanser/Creme Concentrate - Once a week
